When entering a trial, valid arguments can get good compensation. Only possessing evidence doesn’t suffice, the evidence should be relevant and serve as a strong proof against the defendant. This; along with skilled attorneys like Philadelphia, PA personal injury attorneys assure triumph over the case.

A few relevant evidence that strengthen your case include –

1] Prominent physical evidence

When one is harmed in an accident, the physical evidence often persists. This altercation evidence can be a weapon, a mark on your vehicle, clothing, tool, or any tangible object.

2] Photos/Videos

Photos or videos of the event replay the entire scenario before the court. Nothing can be as trustworthy as these. Photos/ videos let you display the entirety of the situation. Due to installation of CCTV cameras almost everywhere, gathering this kind of evidence is now easier.

3] Setting evidence

The location where the accident occurs can have traces of the accident. There could be skid marks, broken glass, weather evidence etc. This evidence can serve as strong support.

4] Documents for injury

The evidence that mostly counts is the documented evidence. This may include medical records, insurance claims, documentation of lost income, etc.

  • Medical records- Get your medical records post treatment without fail. Include surgical reports, X ray results, MRI results, blood tests, doctor’s notes on diagnosis and treatment, report from Psychologist stating your emotional distress, prescriptions etc. Keep copies of receipts as well.
  • Documentation of lost income- Request your employer to provide you with a sheet stating the income you’ve lost due to missing work because of your injury. The contents of letter should be your job title, rate of pay before injury, payment monthly or hourly, average work hours, working  days of the week, total amount of lost wages.

All this when included as evidence boost your claim.

5] Eye witnesses

Bystanders might have witnessed the accident. If you get these to testify at court, there’s nothing that can pull you back. They provide objective statements of the occurrence. They might have noticed things and details you missed out as the victim and hence provide a clearer picture of what happened.

If you possess the evidence mentioned above, you are good to go. When the evidence is well-presented, the severity of your damage is well-crafted, and you have the right attorney, you are on your path to win the case and receive the expected compensation.
